Effects of Educational Intervention on Promoting Preventive Behaviors of Cardiovascular Disease Using the Health Belief Model in Oil Regions Workers

Background: Research conducted on oil region workers has shown that numerous ranges of physical stressors together with behavioral patterns can affect the enhancement cardiovascular disease (CVD). The aim this study was to investigate effects educational intervention promote preventive behaviors CVD using Health Belief Model (HBM). Methods: participant quasi-experimental included 228 (114 control and 114 experimental cases) working in regions. Data were collected through questionnaires containing demographic information, knowledge, constructs HBM. group received an education WhatsApp. Workers completed before after 3-month follow-up. analyzed SPSS 24.0. Results: t test analyses showed no significant differences between groups at baseline. results indicated changes outcome variables across time for groups. Except perceived severity barriers, there interaction group. A correlation found behavior health belief subscales except cues action. Conclusion: findings research confirmed usefulness based HBM necessity apply designed programs improve adoption. Preventive attention decreasing unhealthy lifestyles must be requirements target characteristics prevent risks.
